I went to a Black Owned Burger joint

In downtown  Columbus, there is a hidden jewel. Alley Burger.  Located at 26 N. High st, Rear Columbus. Oh, 43215.  It was a journey to get to the place. But once you get there, the journey is forgotten. The Journey was the parking.   It is hard to find a parking spot. We parked at a parking meter—a block from the restaurant.  The walk to the restaurant was smelly, which was due to the number of dumpsters that I passed with overflowing trash.  I. But once I turned the corner and saw the beautiful artwork leading up to the restaurant. I no longer cared nor smelled the garbage. Because I was happy to get there, and I was in awe.
There is a whole different and unique vibe at Alley burger. The staff was kind and welcoming .  We were greeted and seated as soon as we walked in.   Our waitress came to the table, introduced herself, and served chips and salsa.  I was impressed by the fast and kind service.  R&B music blared through the speakers. The artwork and great vibes created an ambiance one could only dream of.
I ordered the BBQ Bacon burger. It was hot fresh, juicy, and delicious.    It's a single patty burger on a brioche bun with mayo, cheese, onion straws,  bacon, and bbq sauce.  A pickle and fries came with my meal. The fries were delicious. They were crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. I told my friend that they were smooth like butter.  They were even good as they got cold.  I ate all of my fries. And wanted to order more, but I didn't because I was watching my figure. Lol! But if I weren't, I would've placed two orders to go.
My friend and I wanted to order dessert. But we couldn't get it because dessert is only offered with their dinner entrees, which was very disappointing.  We were there during lunch.
While we were there, we met the manager. He shared all of the significant events that the restaurant will host.  On Wednesdays, they have an R& B night. It's from 9 pm- 1 am.
Overall, I had a great experience. I will go later to see if I'll have the same great experience.  I also would love to experience their R&B night.   If you're looking for a unique dining experience. Stop by Alley Burger . and  tell someone about it
