Cleveland Blog ( All- star weekend)

Honey listen, Cleveland doesn't owe me anything! I had a wonderful time. My sister and I drove up to Cleveland for the hbcu portion of the all star game. The game was between Howard University and Morgan State University.  The game was on CSU's campus. Their gymnasium was the perfect size for the event. Both school's band and cheerleaders were present.  Along with alumni. And other hbcu graduates. Celebrities were in the building too! Keke Palmer graced us with her beautiful voice.  She sang the National anthem and the Black national anthem. "Lift every voice" HU's band played along as she sang. She roc her natural hair in an afro. It was beautiful!.  Spike Lee, Rev. Jesse Jackson, and Dr.EMichael Eric  Dyson. Were present. The Divine Nine was also in the building.  representing their beloved organizations.  The energy of the crowd, the bands, was on 10. It was a great time. It was something I needed.  Since I'm a graduate of an hbcu. I haven't had much of my culture since the pandemic. And the game gave me a little dose.

I was also able to get a polish boy. I went to Whitmore's.  To get mine. It was so delicious. A polish boy. It is a huge grilled polish sausage on a bun. That's topped with fries, cole slaw, and bbq sauce. I had a wonderful time during my short visit. The people, food, and hospitality were great! I wish the weather were warmer. I will go back to Cleveland in the summer. Hopefully, I'll have a tour guide during my next visit.😊
