I couldn't resist

A week ago  I was invited out to dinner with my friends.  We went to the  Cheesecake  Factory, which is next to Barnes & Noble. My friends and I  are readers. So after dinner. It made sense to go next door.  Together we didn't want our time to end with dinner so. We walked over to Barnes & Noble. While we were .there. I looked at the Ya section and marked down books.  There were two books by Jacqueline  Woodson that caught my eye.  I didn't purchase them. In the Markdown section, I  found two creative writing books. I bought them because they are for my classroom.

 I made a promise to myself that  I  wouldn't purchase any more books until I've read the books. That I already have.  Well, one of  Woodson's books was on my mind.   The one I saw at the store. So when I  get home, I grab my kindle and search for the book in the Amazon store. I found it and bought it 🤦🏿‍♀️   that led me to purchase other books.🤷🏿‍♀️  I'm a mess, I know. Don't judge me tho; I'm sure you have broken promises to yourself.
